Harrison Avenue Road Closure

September 28, 2023

Harrison Avenue Road Closure beginning October 9, 2023

Prus Construction will be starting a new phase of the Road Diet which will involve closing parts of Harrison Avenue. The project will greatly affect the intersections of Harrison at Higbee, Harrison at Olivette, and Harrison at Washington. Each intersection will close for a 10 day period of time at which you will need to take detours to get around the intersections. The project will go in the order as listed:

  1. Harrison at Higbee-10 days for a raised crosswalk
  2. Harrison at Olivette-10 days for a raised crosswalk
  3. Harrison at Washinton-10 days for a raised intersection

ALL CHEVIOT BUSINESSES WILL REMAIN OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE. If the business is located near one of these intersections, you will need to use the back side streets to get to the business along Harrison. It is our goal to always leave as much of Harrison Avenue open as possible. We appreciate your patience at this time. Please remember the speed limit is 25 mph in the City of Cheviot.
